Da war das Vergn�gen, eine kalligraphische Marotte, sch�n zu
schreiben, mit Bedacht die Feder aufs Papier zu setzen, einmal ganz
exzentrisch anders zu besetzen: Kalligraphisch, aber auch
elektronisch, mit Bravour die Buchstaben in den Computer zu bringen,
mit ruppigem Strich. Das geschah mit dem Wacom Stift und Pad, der
direkt mit dem Fontographer von Macromedia gekuppelt ist. Nat�rlich
kann man damit auch ganz sanfte, liebliche Zeichen erzeugen, wie die
kunstgewerblichen Sch�nschreiber mit ihrer Sepiatinte. Das ist nur
eine Frage des Temperaments.

There was a certain pleasure to interpret the calligraphic caprice
of fine writing in a completely different and eccentric way:
to digitize the letters with verve, both electronically and
calligraphically. It was done with the Wacom pen and pad connected
directly to Macromedia's Fontographer. Of course it's possible
to generate gentle, charming characters like the professional
calligraphy artists do with sepia ink. It's just a question of
temperament.
